*FOOT PEDAL CONTROL
Foot pedal operator assembly is NOT included with the 28-M cable reel assembly. Foot pedal control only available on model year 2008 (previously equipped from
factory with foot pedal control plug) and newer LOADTEC® trailer portable load banks with cable reel motor mounted (underneath cable reel) on top of trailer chassis.
Model year 2007 and older motorized cable reels operatored via top-mounted toggle switch control on trailer chassis with under-trailer chassis mounted motor.

**CABLE CAPACITY
Cable capacities listed are deemed accurate and have been demonstrated in the field and at LOADTEC's factory. The reel's cable capacity will decrease as the cable
thickness [outside diameter (O.D.)] increases. The flexibility characteristics of the cable can also impact the cable capacity. The cable must also be neatly and tightly
placed on the reels to ensure maximum cable capacity rating. Using extremely bulky or non-standard cam plugs can also limit the cable capacity. Cable is NOT
included.

***MOTOR COMPATABILITY
Model year 2008 and newer LOADTEC® trailer portable load banks were/are equipped with foot pedal control plugs and reel motors that mount ABOVE the trailer
chassis, directly BELOW the cable reel. If the LOADTEC® trailer portable load bank is model year 2007 or older, it should have toggle switch controls with the reel
motors mounted UNDER the trailer chassis with slot pass-throughs in the trailer decking for the chains to reach the motor. The reel motor can be ordered as an optional
item with the 28-M cable reel. Customer must specify if the reel motor is an ABOVE chassis mount, or BELOW chassis mount.

OPERATION
These cable reels are intended for storage purposes only. NEVER ENERGIZE ANY CABLE STORED ON REELS. CABLE MUST BE REMOVED PRIOR TO USE.

MAINTENANCE
The cable reels should be checked for tightness/proper torque periodically on a routine basis. Over time; as with any assembly that contains moving parts, hardware
can loosen. In extreme cases, lack of tightening can cause damage to the reel. Periodic maintenance of the LOADTEC® cable reels and lubrication of the chains will
ensure they last the life of the load bank.
